In Fiscal Year 2021, NAMI Reached 200% More People Through Family-To-Family Classes For Adult Family Members With Mental Illness
In fiscal year 2021, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) doubled the number of Family-to-Family classes for family members who have an adult relative with a mental illness, reaching 200% more people than the year before. For families of children, NAMI significantly changed how the information was presented since parents who were trying to work and support distance learning had little time or flexibility in their schedules.
To support parental information dissemination, NAMI created “NAMI Moments” which are 15 to 25-minute informational segments. NAMI also taped other classes covering a wide range of topics from wellness . . .
