In Third Year Of Expansion, BCBS Licensee Health Care Service Corporation To Offer Medicare Plans In 99 More Counties Across Five States

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, intends to offer Medicare plans in 99 additional counties across Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas in 2024. This is the third year that HCSC has expanded its service footprint for its Medicare Advantage and/or Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) plans. With this anticipated footprint, HCSC will offer plans in more than 82% of counties in the states it serves.
