Intermountain & UnitedHealthcare Launch ACO For Medicare Advantage Members

Intermountain Healthcare (Intermountain), through its company Castell, and UnitedHealthcare established an accountable care organization (ACO) for UnitedHealthcare’s Medicare Advantage members. The ACO includes Intermountain-employed primary care physicians and health care professionals in northern and southern Utah as well as other participating primary care professionals (PCPs) in southern Utah.

The PCPs participating in the ACO will coordinate care for UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage members. Castell/Intermountain will provide support through its care management, care coordination, network services, and documentation teams.
