Jeb Bush Resigns From Tenet Healthcare Board
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has resigned from the board of healthcare giant Tenet Healthcare. The move came nearly two weeks after the politician said he was exploring the possibility of running for president in 2016. Bush notified the Board of Directors of Tenet Healthcare Corporation of his decision to resign from the Board, to be effective as of December 31, 2014. Bush did not resign on account of any disagreement with Tenet. Upon the effectiveness of Bush’s resignation, the size of the Board was reduced from ten directors to nine.
