Jefferson Completes Acquisition Of Magee Rehabilitation Hospital

Jefferson Health recently announced it has completed its acquisition of Magee Rehabilitation Hospital (Magee) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The two entities have a relationship that stretches back to 1978.

Since about halfway through 2013, Jefferson has grown in total revenue by around $2.8 billion. The growth has been marked by number of acquisitions for the health system. Jefferson currently employs around 30,000 people, while Magee employs about 700.
