Jimini Health, which provides mental health treatment that incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) in psychotherapy, launched operations supported by $8 million in pre-seed funding. Investors include Zetta Venture Partners, LionBird, PsyMed, BoxGroup, Arkitekt Ventures, and SCB. The company’s model combines evidence-based therapy and continuous support in between sessions with Sage, its clinically supervised AI therapist assistant. Treatment is supervised by a human therapist who provides traditional evidence-based therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavior therapy.
