Kaiser Permanente To Launch Risant Health, A Multisystem Value-Based Care Platform

California-based integrated health system Kaiser Permanente (Kaiser) is launching a new multisystem value-based care platform called Risant Health. Kaiser plans to fold Geisinger Health (Geisinger) into the new company to operate non-profit community health systems. Geisinger will maintain its name and mission and continue to work with other health plans, physicians, and independent provider organizations. Current Geisinger President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jaewon Ryu, M.D., JD, will serve as CEO of Risant Health. Dr. Ryu will transition to this new role when the transaction closes.
