Kentucky Approves $20 Million Funding For Behavioral Health Treatment Center In Bowling Green 

The Kentucky General Assembly recently approved $20 million in state funding for a mental health and addiction treatment program in Bowling Green. The Anchor Project facility will be located in the city’s Barren River Area Development District.  

Bowling Green Mayor Todd Alcott said the funding will be used to create a central mental health and substance abuse drop-in and intake center. The facility will also house an office of drug control policy and a life learning center model for the region.
