Kentucky Launching Help Line For Opioid Addiction
The state of Kentucky will be spending $500,000 in order to launch a new help line for those struggling with opioid addiction. The effort is being led by state governor Matt Bevin.
The new help line, which will become available on December 1 of this year, can be reached by any resident seeking help with opioid addiction. Staffing the help line will be social workers who are able to help connect callers to programs for addiction disorder.
