Kentuckyone Creates Position To Focus On Population Health, ACO

KentuckyOne Health Inc. has hired former state commissioner of health Dr. Stephanie Mayfield Gibson to lead its population health efforts. Gibson will be the Louisville-based health system's vice president of population health, according to a news release. She also will be the chief medical officer for its Medicare-approved Accountable Care Organization, KentuckyOne Partners, which works with doctors in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio to coordinate 80,000 patients' care.
