KidsPeace & Lehigh Carbon Community College Launch Training/Certification Partnership For Mental & Behavioral Health Care Workforce

KidsPeace and Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) in Pennsylvania announced the launch of the Mental Health Technician (MHT) Training Academy. The partnership is intended to help LCCC students accelerate their professional development and pursue careers in children’s mental and behavioral health services. Those who complete the certification will be considered preferred candidates for MHT positions at KidsPeace, with compensation equivalent to that of bachelor’s degree holders and the chance to accelerate training and begin to care for youth sooner if hired.
