Kansas Health Information Network Offers One-Stop Health Care Information Source
Kansas Health Information Network has successfully implemented a statewide "patient portal", bringing together members' health information from multiple providers across the state into one centralized health information exchange (HIE) location. Traditionally, consumers are required to sign in to separate patient portals for each provider, making the process of accessing health care information cumbersome.
The new information consolidation system empowers consumers and allows them to more easily manage and analyze health care related information at a high level.
