Loyola Medicine Acquires MacNeal Hospital & Affiliated Operations

Loyola Medicine recently finalized its acquisition of MacNeal Hospital and its affiliated operations. The affiliated operations include local Tenet-owned clinical professional practices; the Chicago Health System (CHS), an independent practice association of nearly 1,000 clinical professionals; and the associated CHS accountable care organization.

MacNeal Hospital is a 374-bed teach hospital located in Berwyn, Illinois, which contains over 550 medical staff in 50 specialties; as well as a 12-bed acute rehabilitation unit, 25-bed inpatient skilled nursing facility, and 68-bed behavioral health program.
