Maine Selects Maximus To Administer Supports Intensity Scale For Adult Assessments 

Maine’s Office of Aging and Disability services, part of its Department of Health and Human Services, selected Maximus to administer service needs assessments among individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). The length of the contract and the contract value were not disclosed.

Under the contract, Maximus will administer the Supports Intensity Scale for Adults (SIS-A) 2nd Edition Assessments. SIS-A is a comprehensive planning tool that measures support needs of individuals in areas including home living, community living, lifelong learning, employment, health and safety, and social activities.;
