MaineHealth Behavioral Health at Spring Harbor (MHBHSH) announced that it has licensed Acuity Behavioral Health's Behavioral Health Operations Intelligence (BHOI) platform and BHOI software for implementation at its inpatient psychiatric units. The implementation will feature NORA, an artificial intelligence (AI)-agent in the 24/7 role of Nurse Operations Research Assistant, to provide a simple Natural Language interface for nurse managers and staff. MHBHSH will use the BHOI to improve the care and safety of patients and nursing staff across their inpatient psychiatric care programs, the announcement stated.
