Makom In Maryland Awarded $1 Million To Create A Multidisciplinary Health Care Center For People With I/DD
Makom (formerly Jewish Foundation for Group Homes) was awarded a $1 million grant to create a culturally competent multidisciplinary health care center in Prince George's County, Maryland. The care center will serve people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). Makom provides residential, individual support services, and community support living arrangements for people with I/DD.
