Marion County, Oregon, Opens Expanded Behavioral Health Crisis Center
Marion County, Oregon Health & Human Services announced the opening of a newly expanded Behavioral Health Crisis Center, strengthening the state’s behavioral health system and expanding access to crisis care. It will provide crisis assessment and stabilization services to individuals and families experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Located in Salem, the center is open to anyone in need of care, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
Oregon Health Authority (OHA) contributed $2.9 million through House Bill 5030 to support the renovation and expansion of the facility.
