MatrixCare Acquires Long-Term Care EHR Vendor SigmaCare

MatrixCare has acquired long-term care electronic health record (EHR) vendor SigmaCare. SigmaCare is based out of New York, and is currently used by over 12,000 health care facilities across the United States.

MatrixCare will immediately begin utilizing SigmaCare's EHR system, allowing access by nurses, senior living clinical professionals, life plan communities, and home health organizations. Additional solutions from MatrixCare will also be available, including CareCommunity, Revenue Cycle Management, and MatrixCare Analytics.
