MCHC Health Centers Names Sam Fernandez As Behavioral Health Director

After 11 years as a therapist at Mendocino Community Health Clinic, Inc. Health Centers (MCHC), Sam Fernandez, LCSW, was recently named director of behavioral health, replacing his mentor and friend Michael Mabanglo, LCSW, PhD. Fernandez sees this as a wonderful opportunity to work with the healthcare team as they integrate behavioral health services with other MCHC departments to continue the focus on whole-person care throughout all of MCHC Health Centers’ sites.
