On March 9, 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) made available Change Healthcare/Optum Payment Disruption (CHOPD) accelerated payments to Medicare Part A and B provider organizations and suppliers experiencing claims disruptions as a result of the February 21, 2024, cyberattack on claims processor Change Healthcare.
