Mental Health Association Of Frederick County, Maryland To Open 24-Hour Walk-In Crisis Care Center
The Mental Health Association of Frederick County, Maryland is preparing to operate a 24-hour walk-in crisis care center in September 2023. It will open in two phases: Phase One will include recliners available for up to 23 hours per day for consumers who require a higher level of care. In Phase Two, which is slated to open in 2024, will include eight beds. Two of the eight beds will be designated as family beds for children or adolescents who require a parent or guardian to stay with them.
