Mental Health Platform Headlight Launches With $18 Million

Headlight Health, a digital mental health platform formerly called Sokya Health, raised $18 million in new funding, led by Matrix and EPIC Ventures. Headlight plans to use the funding to expand into additional states and employ more clinical professionals by 2025.

The company was founded by Manish Sheth, M.D, Ph.D.; and Shashita Inamdar, M.D, Ph.D. It provides telehealth and in-person services. Headlight's website says the company is in-network and has dedicated credentialing with most payers within its current seven-state service area: Alaska, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Texas, and Washington . . .
