Mercy Health & Bon Secours To Merge

Mercy Health (Mercy) and Bon Secours Health System (Bon Secours) recently announced they will be merging. It is anticipated that the merger will completed by the end of 2018.

The new entity they form will contain 43-hospitals throughout seven states, and would be projected to have $8 billion in net operating revenue. Statements from the systems have asserted that the newly formed entity would be the country’s fifth-largest Catholic health system.
