Microsoft Establishes Formal Health Care Group, Hires Two New Health Leaders
Microsoft recently announced the establishment of Microsoft Healthcare, as well as the addition of two health leaders to the group. The group results from Healthcare NExT, a company initiative that aims to accelerate health care innovation through artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing.
The new group will see Microsoft employees working on Healthcare NExT moving under the Microsoft Healthcare banner, which is part of the company’s AI and Research division.
