Minnesota Awards $5 Million For Specialized Mental Health At Schools
Minnesota awarded school districts $5 million in grants for the provision of specialized mental health services. The “innovation grants” are being divided up among the state’s four intermediate school districts, and will go towards services such as special education, career education, and gift and talented programs.
In addition to these grants, a fifth grant is going toward a service cooperative of school mental health providers.
