Missoula County Launches Supportive Housing Pilot
A new supportive housing program aimed at helping released jail inmates find homes and other services was recently launched in Missoula County, Montana. The program comes as the result of a collaborative effort between the county and the District XI Human Resource Council.
With the help of a $153,000 grant, two crucial positions will be filled for the pilot program: a re-entry case manager and a housing stability coordinator. These two positions will be involved with helping program participants find housing and resources for rent assistance, developing a landlord mitigation fund, and helping participants, returning residents, and landlords . . .
