Missouri Ozarks Community Health Launches Addiction Treatment Program
Missouri Ozarks Community Health announced the start of a substance use disorder (SUD) treatment program this month. The program is structured to provide medication and behavioral health therapy for SUD, primarily opioid use disorders. The program will accept walk-in consumers and same-day appointments.Â
Consumers will undergo an evaluation, including their general medical status. Treatment options will be presented depending on where the consumer is in the substance use, withdrawal, or recovery process. The treatment team includes a physician, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, and a licensed professional counselor.
