MIT-Royalty Pharma Faculty Founder Initiative Supports Biotech Innovators

The MIT-Royalty Pharma Faculty Founder Initiative is a two-year program supporting faculty entrepreneurs seeking to commercialize biotech innovations. Recently renamed in recognition of a $3 million gift from Royalty Pharma, the funding will sustain the initiative for four years.

Participants receive workshops, executive education classes, and mentorship from entrepreneurs and investors to help develop their work into startups ready for commercialization. The program concludes with the MIT-Royalty Pharma Prize Competition Showcase, with the next event scheduled for 2027.
