Montgomery County, Ohio, Secures $13 Million For New Behavioral Health Unit At County Jail
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction Director Annette Chambers-Smith announced that Montgomery County will receive $13 million from the state to support ongoing jail renovations through the Ohio Jail Safety and Security Program. The Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is using this funding toward the construction of the new Behavioral Health Unit at the county jail.
