Mount Sinai Opens Clinic For Autistic Adults

In January 2017, Mount Sinai opened a new Adult Autism Clinic, funded by Igor Makarov and the Makarov Foundation to serve adults 18 and older. Mount Sinai is the only hospital in south Florida that offers hospital-setting medical care for the adult autism population.

Among other offerings, the Clinic provides a quiet environment with consumer-centered care, primary and specialty medical care, diagnostic services, and care management and support services for consumers and their families/caretakers.
