Multisystemic Therapy Program Launches In Williamson County, Texas

Williamson County, Texas, announced it is launching a new, research-based program designed to keep youth safely in their homes and communities rather than entering the juvenile justice or child welfare systems. The initiative is made possible through $1.2 million in funding approved by the Texas Legislature for the expansion of Multisystemic Therapy (MST), an intensive family-centered treatment model. MST services started on November 20, 2025.

The Texas Legislature allocated $600,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $600,000 in fiscal year 2027 to bring MST to Williamson County through the Texas Juvenile Justice Department’s Community Programs . . .
