MUSC Health’s Ovatient To Expand Its Virtual-First Primary, Urgent & Behavioral Health Care Services In South Carolina

Ovatient, a virtual-first health care services company, launched its virtual-first care offering built on Epic and MyChart at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Health. Epic is MUSC Health’s electronic medical record, and MyChart is its consumer portal. The goal is to offer greater access to virtual care services.;

Through its virtual care services, Ovatient will provide on-demand urgent care and virtual-first primary care, and integrated behavioral health services. The service will deliver care for more than 50,000 MUSC Health consumers in the first year alone.;
