Museum Launches Program For Families Affected By Autism

The Omaha Children's Museum recently launched a new program for individuals with autism, titled "Experiential Science for Families Affected by Autism." The Museum was awarded a grant by the Explora museum in New Mexico (where the program was initially launched), which will help to fund the program for its year-long run.

The program will provide visiting families with toolkits containing items that are designed to help children who have sensory sensitivities.
