NextGen Healthcare Launches AI-Aided Clinical Documentation 

NextGen Healthcare recently launched Ambient Assist, an ambient listening solution. The company said Ambient Assist can deliver artificial intelligence (AI)-generated subjective, objective, assessment, and plan (SOAP) notes into the NextGen Enterprise EHR.;

The solution is capable of interpreting patient-provider conversations in real time to summarize appointments and document care plans. NextGen said clinical professionals using Ambient Assist within the NextGen Mobile application can save as much as two hours of documentation time per day.
