Nashville Company Battling Opioid Addictions Raises $8 Million
Nashville-based 180 Health Partners recently raised $8 million for efforts to battle opioid addiction. Specifically, the funds will be focused on helping mothers and newborns affected by addiction disorder pertaining to opioid abuse.
The funding will assist 180 Health Partners in its continued efforts to help pregnant mothers who are struggling with addiction to opioids. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, about 2 million Americans struggled with opioid addiction in 2015.
