NCDHHS Partners With Talkspace To Provide Free Virtual Mental Health Therapy To Justice-Involved & At-Risk Teens
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) is partnering with Talkspace for two years to make its virtual therapy platform available at no cost to justice-involved and at-risk youth ages 13 to 17. The partnership is part of the state’s effort to expand services and;increase the quality and consistency of behavioral health programs for youth. The state anticipates that the program will serve up to 20,000 youth affected by the legal system. Participation is voluntary and will not be court-ordered.;
