Nebraska Corrections Department Hires New Behavioral Health Administrator

Director of Nebraska's Corrections department has announced that he has appointed Alice Mitwaruciu as a new behavioral health administrator. Ms. Mitwaruciu has been serving as the acting administrator since August and has worked at the Beatrice State Development Center for two years before taking a position in correctional services as a clinical psychologist at the Lincoln Correctional Center in January 2014. She had been promoted to the assistant for mental health services and oversaw mental health and violent offender services while providing clinical and administrative supervision for all mental health staff.
