Nebraska DHHS Division Of Behavioral Health & Nebraska Medical Association To Help Physical Health Provider Organizations Integrate Behavioral Health Services
The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)'s Division of Behavioral Health (DBH) and the Nebraska Medical Association (NMA) partnered to help physical health provider organizations integrate behavioral health services. The partnership is developing a specialized training, competency development and professional consultation program.
The partnership is conducting a needs assessment, to identify the areas of greatest needs and prioritize accordingly. Integrating behavioral health across public and private systems is a key pillar of DBH's 2022 to 2024 Strategic Plan.
