Nebraska Family Support Waiver To Offer Services To 850 Children With I/DD   

Nebraska's new Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver, the Family Support Waiver (FSW), began on March 1, 2024. The waiver will provide services to 850 children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) currently on the Nebraska Developmental Disabilities Registry.  

The waiver is open to people from birth to 21 with I/DD who meet the level of care for an intermediate care facility. Under the waiver, each participant has a maximum annual budget of $10,000.;
