Neural Analytics Raises $15 Million To Commercialize Non-Invasive, Ultrasound-Based, Brain Health Monitoring Device
Neural Analytics, Inc. recently raised $15 million for the commercialization of its non-invasive, ultrasound-based, brain health monitoring device, named The Lucid Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound System (Lucid System). The Series B financing was led by venture capital fund Alpha Edison.
The Lucid System operates by utilizing ultrasound to assess the blood vessels in the brain from outside the body. The system—which is FDA-cleared—is battery-operated and easily transportable, as well as non-invasive, making it safer for consumers and more convenient to use for clinical professionals.
