New Addiction Treatment Center Opens In Broome County

A new addiction treatment center recently opened in Broome County, New York. The center will focus specifically on providing treatment to those struggling with addiction disorder. The facility officially opened its doors as of April 5.

Located in what was formerly the Broome County Developmental Center in Binghamton, the center contains 50 beds dedicated to helping people to detoxify before entering a recovery program for addiction disorder. The center will be operated by Syracuse Behavioral Health, which will utilize $1.5 million in annual state funding to operate the facility. There are also plans in the future for the center . . .
