New Center For Autism & Neurodevelopment Announced
Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg) recently announced the launch of a new Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment. The center’s mission will be to accelerate the understanding of autism and its biological causes, and to use that information to create treatments for it.
Scholars and scientists hope that by better understanding brain development and how it is affected by autism and related disorders, science will be better equipped to develop new treatments for autism spectrum disorders. The new center will bring together scientists from multiple fields and take numerous approaches to its research in this mission.
