New Jersey Awards $3.2 Million Contract To Young Adult Institute For I/DD, Mental Health
The New Jersey Human Services’ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) awarded a four-year contract valued at $3.2 million annually to Young Adult Institute (YAI) to create a community crisis prevention service for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) and mental health needs in the state’s southern counties. The program is START – which stands for Systemic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resources, and Treatment. YAI will launch the START program in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Salem counties.
