New Klamath County, Oregon Residential Center Offers Girls & Young Women An Alternative To Incarceration
A new Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) residential treatment center, Klamath Crimson Rose (KCR), opened in Klamath, County as an alternative to incarceration for girls and young women ages 13 to 20. The Crimson Rose facility replaces the state’s oldest juvenile detention unit, and offers a modern setting tailored to the developmental and emotional needs of its residents. The goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for those involved in the juvenile justice system.;
