New Toolkit Helps Young Adults With I/IDD Prepare For Disasters & Emergencies

The National Alliance to Advance Adolescent Health launched a toolkit to help young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their caregivers plan for natural disasters or emergency situations. The toolkit was developed with support from the WITH Foundation (Working for Inclusive and Transformative Healthcare). Available in both English and Spanish, the toolkit includes two tip sheets to assist primary care teams and their young adult consumers with I/DD to plan for disasters and emergencies.
