New York Launches Initiative To Improve Recruitment & Retention Of Direct Support Professionals Serving People With Developmental Disabilities
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and the NY Alliance for Inclusion and Innovation launched a workforce recruitment and retention initiative focused on building the direct support professional workforce. The initiative leverages technical assistance from the McSilver Institute for Poverty, Policy and Research at New York University.
Laying the foundation of the project are two key components.
