Newport Healthcare, which provides mental health treatment for youth and young adults, acquired Minnesota-based PrairieCare, a large pediatric psychiatric practice. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition is anticipated to solidify Newport’s presence in Minnesota and create a hub for youth psychiatric services in the Midwest.
