Non-Profit HeartShare To Open New Center For Immigrant Children In New York’s Sunset Park
The children’s education non-profit HeartShare Human Services (HeartShare) of New York, which educates children living in poverty and those with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD), will open a new, 12,886-square-foot center in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, later in 2023. The center will house a HeartShare program for immigrant children.
The site is owned by Trinity Lutheran Church. HeartShare will occupy the basement, ground-floor, and second-floor spaces from a public school at 4507 Fourth Avenue, which closed during the pandemic. The five-year lease was brokered by MOD Commercial Realty’s Meyer Dagmy.
