North Carolina Invests $4.5 Million To Expand Child Treatment Program & Strengthen Child Behavioral Health
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) is investing $4.5 million for a program to train mental health provider organizations on trauma-informed treatment. The NC Child Treatment Program is a statewide initiative to train mental health professionals in trauma-informed treatment models for children with complex behavioral health needs.
