North Carolina Launches New QuitlineNC With Expanded Services For Smoking & Vaping Cessation
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) launched an improved QuitlineNC, offering more services and ways for tobacco users to successfully quit smoking or stop using other tobacco products, including vaping and e-cigarettes. The new services available include:
“Quit Coaches" who can be reached through live chat or text.
Group videos.
A personalized dashboard for users to track their quitting progress.
Tailored programs for subgroups that provide targeted counseling and often longer-term treatment. These programs are available for youth, pregnant women, people planning to become pregnant, people parenting an infant, and people with behavioral health . . .
